Returning values from a text stat

I’m trying to put together a stat which will take a text value (eg: armour_type: Leather), and return a numeric value in another stat (Armour_value: 1)

Apologies if I’m asking basic questions here but I’m just getting to grips with coding.

This does not work at the moment. Text Stats can be used for output in an Action but string comparison does not work.

There is a Feature Request for a Combo Box type input on Character Sheets that would enable a similar experience. Please vote on it and provide a comment as to how you would use it to increase the priority of the Feature.
