One of the community members pitched this suggestion, transplanting here:
GMs should have the ability to restrict changes to the sheet, to counter problematic players.
First, a player changes their vision to max without the GM knowing to get an unfair advantage in a restricted vision setting.
Second, the player toggles checkboxes to add proficiency or extra rolls or modifiers before rolling, then switches it back.
The request is to be able to force all changes to characters to get GM permission beforehand, or to restrict it entirely until the GM toggles the restrictions off. This would be a permissions setting globally applied to Sheets, similar to Trigger settings.
- Anyone can change
- Anyone can request changes, GM must approve
- No one but GM can make changes to characters
