Dynamic Lighting map size bug

Hello all, so I’m just getting into using astral for a dnd game I’m running but I’m having a problem with the dynamic lighting is dramatically reducing the size of my map to a 25x25 box. I can make lines that are much bigger but every time I enter player vision they’re cut off by lines I didn’t make.

Hi @Beardimus and welcome to the forums.

This isn’t actually a bug but a memory saving feature so that graphics cards don’t crash trying to load an infinite size map.

Astral automatically creates a Dynamic Lighting boundary around any image assets that you have placed on the map surface. To make the area larger, try placing small images at the corners of the areas you want to include in your drawn map so that Astral will wrap that entire area in Dynamic Lighting for you.

Hope that helps.
