Custom Icons for actions .svg

It would be great to be able to create your own icons for actions. At the moment the current options are a little limited and I assume they are probably just .svgs judging by the way they can change colour so it would be great to get more freedom. I understand there are security risks with uploading .svgs so maybe it would take some more thought but it would be great just to get some more diversity in there
